Well-known and globally active manufacturer of wood-based materials with decorative and structural materials for the furniture and construction industry, interior design as well as store fitting and trade fair construction, the product portfolio includes all grades of melamine faced panels, MDF, OSB, particleboard, wood fiber insulation and laminates.

Kurzprofil der Funktion

• Coordinate the monitoring of social and megatrends to assess and decide decorative proposals within the portfolio to better address this trends
• Based on market analysis (competitors, trade fairs, customers’ feedback, etc.), and in close collaboration with Brand Manager, propose a strategy for collection review and gap analysis of the décor portfolio, to better fit the clients’ needs
• In close collaboration with the Purchasing Department, develop relationships with paper and press plate’s suppliers
• Select and propose new partnerships with architects, designers and other players in order to develop collections, new colours, patterns or finishes, as well as develop and strengthen the network
• Establish and develop long term partnerships with key clients, to develop and introduce new decorative products on a continuous approach, ensuring they keep the company in their top-of-mind and they perceive the company as a valued partner and a partner choice
• Annually define a strong concept for Impulse process with a customer-centric approach to better fit and address our customers’ needs and expectations and establish the guidelines for the décor proposals
• Define the collections
• Support sales teams in the definition of customer ranges and identify solutions for customer exclusives
• Follow sector trade fairs (focus competitors, customers segments, decorative trends) to get a comprehensive overview of the market and competitive landscape
• Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams in initiatives to promote collections and customer’s presentations
• Cooperate with the supply chain team in the implementation of the paper purchasing strategy
• Ensure the Human Resources management under responsibility, according to corporate policies and processes, assuring performance appraisal, in order to guarantee the team’s alignment with the strategy of the company and maximise their potential
• Comply with all procedures, processes and routines defined by the company in the areas of Quality, Environment and Health and Safety and Chain of Custody, according to the company’s goals and guidelines an within the strict compliance with law and applicable standards
• Promote commitment, alignment and support of human resources under his/her responsibility towards effectiveness and achievement of results within certification standards. Foster awareness regarding process approach, risk-based thinking and continuous improvement

Anforderungsprofil

• Superior Degree in Design (preferential)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good Interrelationship and networking skills with an ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Creative, dynamic and organized Team Player
• Customer-centric attitude
• Team Management skills
• Have general knowledge of the European standards, including PEFC's and FSC Chain of Custody certification
• Multiple years experience in similar responsibilities
• Experience in an industrial environment
• English & German is mandatory
• Very good knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP basic knowledge
