Kurzprofil der Funktion

• Ensure optimal maintenance service for a panel plant in the wood based panel industry with- several wood-based panel production lines, several short-cycle presses for the coating of wood-based panels and several cut-to-size saws.
• Management of the maintenance department with approx. 70 employees
• Planning and supervision of the execution of maintenance in close coordination with the production departments and the plant management
• Ensuring service management in production operations
• Assessing and optimizing processes in the overall context
• Ensuring the training and further education of employees
• Employee management
• Flexibility and communication skills in cooperation with other production and maintenance departments
• Maintaining or increasing the availability of equipment through planned regular and preventive maintenance
• Planning, budgeting, execution and controlling of new or rebuild projects 
• Identification and implementation of improvement measures and process optimizations
• You know that there is no perfect "one size fits all" that fits everything: You work best in an open atmosphere of curiosity, shared expertise and responsibility to achieve the best process results and high customer satisfaction, in the challenges you face
• To ensure product and process quality, you will work side-by-side with production managers, engineers and technicians, for a culture of preventive, risk-avoiding maintenance
• You are as comfortable on the shop floor as you are in management because you see it like we do: one team, multiple roles.

Anforderungsprofil

• Several years of professional experience as a maintenance manager (m/f/d) in industry
• Post-secondary engineering degree (preferably mechanical or electrical engineering)
• Successful implementation of an older maintenance culture into a proactive, strategic team (behaviors, methods and techniques)
• Strong background in optimization methodology (kaizen, lean)
• Hands-on experience in large-scale industrial manufacturing technology (not limited to wood-based materials, may include paper, glass, metal)
• Experience in modern control technology (Simatic S5/ S7), mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Experience and understanding of in-house processes and constraints of complex and highly integrated production
• Experience in managing a centralized and decentralized maintenance organization
• Experience in the maintenance of machinery and equipment in a fully continuous production with high utilization rates
• Total Productive Maintenance experience (TPM)
• Convincing leadership personality
• Fluent German and good English skills
