Kurzprofil der Funktion

  • Prepare and propose the annual budget, investment and maintenance plan for the plant under responsibility, in collaboration with the financial and controlling area, taking into account previously approved budgets and forecasts, as well as control and implement corrective measures to deviations and report operational and financial data to the management team periodically, in order to guarantee the highest profitability in the unit, in compliance with approved deadlines and quality & technical standards
  • Coordinate and control the production plan, monitoring it against capacity, orders and stock, in accordance with deadlines and quality & technical standards, in order to ensure alignment between production planning, capacity, logistics and sales requirements
  • Guarantee maintenance interventions in the industrial unit under responsibility taking into consideration priorities and consumption periods, ensuring the timely and costeffective identification and repairing of errors and failures, thus minimising down periods
  • Plan and propose investments for the production facilities taking into account feasibility, quality and costs, in accordance with the approved deadlines and budgets, as well as monitor their implementation, in order to guarantee the appropriate project handling, at the lowest cost, contributing to improve units’ effectiveness
  • Guarantee continuous improvement in the production unit under responsibility, in terms of production planning and processes, promoting projects and studies as well as evaluating engineering processes, aligned with the companies technical and quality standards, in order to implement new measures and/or processes that increase profitability and efficiency within the unit
  • Contribute to the development of new products and/or modifications of existing products, taking into account offer and demand, market specifics, forecasts and other data, in order to meet the customer’s needs
  • Ensure the Human Resources management under responsibility, according to corporate policies and processes, assuring performance appraisal, in order to guarantee the team’s alignment with the companies strategy and maximise their productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all certifications and integrated management systems standards, as well as with other applicable regulations, minimising accidents and errors in the unit under responsibility, in order to guarantee the proper working conditions for employees and promote the companies public image
  • Contribute to the integration of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and certification requirements into the organization's business processes, ensuring alignment with the organization context and strategic guidelines. Guarantee both the compliance with all requirements and goals and the availability of the necessary resources to attain them
  • Ensure team commitment towards client satisfaction, guaranteeing the fulfilment of clients specifications as well as applicable regulations and other certifications specificities
  • Foster awareness regarding process approach, risk-based thinking and continuous improvement

Anforderungsprofil

  • Superior Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and lean production
  • Knowledge of business economics and modern company management
  • Knowledge of Labour and Employment Law
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Professional Experience (multiple years) in the management of capital-intensive companies
  • Languages Knowledge German and English (fluent)
